P·02Grid interconnection
Diagrams and schedules in. A validated network model out.
GridLens is an engineering compiler for power infrastructure. It converts scattered project PDFs into a canonical, physics-validated electrical network graph, discrepancy-mapped and PE-reviewed, in days instead of weeks.
- QA audits from $8,000
- Fixed-price packages
- PE-reviewed deliverables
- CIM-lite JSON output

3 conflicts · 100% traced
Conflict 01
XFMR T-4 rated 45 MVA on SLD-03, 50 MVA in equipment schedule
SLD-03 rev C vs. Schedule E-2 line 41
Conflict 02
Breaker 52-117 missing from the PSS/E model topology

01The forcing function
Package quality stopped being a convenience issue.
About 8,200 projects totalling over 1,300 GW of generation and 749 GW of storage sit in US interconnection queues. Inside every project is the same bottleneck: engineering information lives as scattered PDFs that a junior engineer transcribes into PSS/E or PSCAD models and keeps consistent across revisions. Stale models mean rework, and rework means rejected studies.
In August 2026, Texas paused the ERCOT Batch Zero process and ordered an audit of data-center interconnection filings, with the regulator stating noncompliant projects should be denied grid access. The model and data package is now an existential compliance artifact.
The question we open with
When was the last time your delivered model actually matched your SLDs and equipment schedules? We audit-proof it in five days, fixed price, PE-reviewed.
02Pipeline
From document pile to validated graph.
Five stages, each one auditable. The engine does the transcribing and checking; licensed engineers do the judgment.
01
Parse
Single-line diagrams read as vector PDFs first, then scans. Equipment schedules, spec sheets, and prior studies join the pile.
02
Extract
Components, ratings, and connectivity come out as structured data, revision by revision, sheet by sheet.
03
Reconcile
The same asset appears in three places under three names. Entity resolution across drawing, schedule, and study is the hard, valuable step.
04
Validate
Power-flow sanity checks and engineering rules: voltage compatibility, rating consistency, missing parameters. Physics decides, not vibes.
05
Deliver
A canonical network graph in CIM-lite JSON, a discrepancy report with every value hyperlinked to its source, and export adapters for the tools downstream.
03Deliverables
What lands on your desk.
D·01
Canonical network model
A single validated electrical network graph for the project, in CIM-lite JSON, that downstream tools and studies can consume.
D·02
Discrepancy report
Every conflict between drawing, schedule, and study, each value hyperlinked to its sheet and revision. The document that sells itself.
D·03
Study-ready exports
Adapters for the modeling environments your consultants already run, so the model drops into existing workflows.
D·04
PE review letter
Every package carries a professional engineer's review. We sell certainty under a stamp, never engineering judgment from a model.
D·05
Rework cost accounting
Each discrepancy is priced in weeks and dollars, because a mismatch that costs three weeks of rework is easier to prioritize than a row in a database.
D·06
Data-rights clarity
Your project data stays yours. Training rights on redacted artifacts are contractual, opt-in, and priced, never assumed.
04Position
The neutral layer under the tools you already use.
GridLens is not a filing assistant, not a capacity search engine, not a digital twin, and not a replacement for PSS/E or ETAP.
Every study, twin, and planning tool consumes a model that a human had to build and check by hand first. That preparation and QA layer is what we productize. We sit under the modeling suites and the filing platforms, feeding both, competing with neither.

US PE quality at offshore rates, AI-augmented: typically 40 to 60 percent below onshore delivery at two to three times the turnaround, because the engine does the transcribing and engineers do the review.
06FAQ
What engineering leads ask first.
If yours is not here, ask us directly. We answer with sources.
A language model can read a drawing but cannot reconcile one asset named three ways across three documents, run a power-flow sanity check on the result, or stand behind it with a PE review. GridLens chains those steps together and cites every value it extracts. Model output without validation is exactly the compliance risk the audits are hunting.

Audit your last delivered package.
Send one project pile: SLDs, schedules, the delivered model. We return the discrepancy report in five days, fixed price, PE-reviewed. If it finds nothing, you have audit confidence. If it finds something, you have it before the regulator does.
